Boston and NYC Marathon Legend Bill Rodgers

“Boston Bill” Rodgers is one of the most accomplished runners in history. For more than 30 years, he raced competitively and was ranked the #1 marathon runner in the world by Track & Field News three times during his career. An Olympian, former world record holder in the 25K and former American record holder in the marathon, Rodgers is also a champion of the Fukuoka, Toronto, Kyoto, Amsterdam, Philadelphia, Bay State, Houston, and Melbourne Marathons among other wins. In 2000, he was inducted into the USA Track and Field Hall of Fame. Currently Rodgers is a John Hancock Elite Athlete Ambassador and travels to races around the world as a spokesperson for living a healthy and active life.
