The Empty Quarter

Before reading this book my notion of PJs was something in which to sleep. Now I know that the USAF has an elite Pararescue Jumper corps that lives by the motto “That Others May Live”. These guys jump into hot battle zones and while adding firepower when needed, their primary mission is to save the lives of those who call them.

I also know that David Robbins is an author worthy of my time. Not only is this novel fast-paced, factual, and well researched, it has plausible characters and motivations while addressing some of the contemporary problems facing Americans and Arabs.

It was a fun book to read, and I found myself looking forward to more time with it, in my PJs. 🙂
