Wingman: Vital Connections for the Struggles Men Face

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
Wingman was written by the pastor who officiated Jennifer and Mark’s wedding, someone I consider a good friend. But Frank has a much stronger personal bond with his “Wing Man” and describes its value to him in a very short and insightful book about male relationships in the 21st century.
Even for the Christian man, male relationships, according to the author, are mostly superficial.
Throughout my life, I’ve often had a single best friend, but as I’ve matured, both physically and as a Christian, I find it more difficult to maintain the kind of relationships that “Wing Man” describes.
“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Hebrews 10:25 NTL
