Writing is an exercise in thinking, and just as our physical exercise leads to improved performance, our thinking exercise leads to better insights.
We try to produce Running Money® material that is relevant to the people about whom we care, our current and future clients. When we write articles, they’re our thoughts and opinions in our own words, and they carry our byline.
While a lot of aspiring writers do their writing on the side, anyone that’s actually making a living via the written word is getting paid for their words, often ghostwriting for others.
Frequently I receive solicitations to newsletter writing services that offer to send weekly market commentary, monthly newsletters, electronic birthday, Christmas and Thanksgiving cards, and more, without ever requiring me to do anything after the initial setup. It even has the words “Set it and forget it.”
Anyone who has read the Enduring Wealth Story knows why we do things differently. We remember whom we serve and what is expected of us. Rather than contribute to the confusion wrought by the constant flow of generic “content”, we believe our topics are relevant. By writing our own material, we develop wisdom, which helps us pace our clients through their financial milestones, keeping them focused on their own long-run goal and objectives.
What are your thoughts on our efforts?
